Triumph Daytona 955i (2005)

The Triumph Daytona 955i was a 2005 model motorcycle with a four-stroke, transverse three-cylinder, DOHC engine and a capacity of 955cc. It had a liquid cooling system, wet sump lubrication, and a compression ratio of 12.0:1. The bike used multipoint sequential electronic injection for fuel, and digital inductive ignition. It started electrically and had a maximum power output of 110 kW, or 147 hp at 10700 rpm, with a maximum torque of 100 Nm/10.2 kgf-m/74 lb-ft at 8200 rpm. The clutch was multi-plate and wet, and the transmission had six speeds with a final drive using an O-ring chain.

The front brakes used two 320mm discs and four-piston calipers, while the rear brakes had a single 220mm disc and a two-piston caliper.

The front wheel was an alloy three-spoke 17 x 3.5 inch, and the rear wheel was an alloy three-spoke 17 x 6.0 inch. Both wheels had ZR-rated tubeless radial tires, with the front tire being 120/70 ZR17 and the rear 190/50 ZR17. The bike’s rake was 22.5 degrees, and the trail was 79mm/3.1 inches.
