Suzuki GSX-R600 (2003)

The Suzuki GSX-R 600 SRAD was first introduced in 2003 with a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder, DOHC engine with 4 valves per cylinder, which had a capacity of 599cc. The bike had a compression ratio of 12.2:1 and was liquid-cooled. It used EFI 38mm throttle bodies for induction and had digital ignition. The bike had a maximum power of 83.8 kW/115 hp at 13,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 69 Kg/f/50.9 ft lbf at 10,800 rpm. The GSX-R 600 SRAD had a wet, multiple disc and cable operated clutch with a 6-speed transmission and a chain final drive. The bike had an aluminum twin-spar frame with a 24o rake and 96mm trail. The front suspension was telescopic, with a fully adjustable spring preload, rebound and compression damping, and the rear suspension was monoshock with a fully adjustable spring preload, rebound and compression damping. The bike used 3-spoke steel wheels and had 2 x 320 mm discs in the front brakes with four-piston calipers and a single 220 mm disc with 2 piston caliper in the rear brakes. The bike used a 120/70 ZR17 front tyre and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tyre. The bike had a length of 2040 mm/80.3 in, a width of 715mm/28.1 in, and a height of 1135mm/44.7 in, with a wheelbase of 1400 mm/55.1 in and a seat height of 830 mm/32.7 in. The dry weight of the bike was 163 kg/359 lbs, and it had a fuel capacity of 18L/4.8 US US gal/4.0 Imp gal with an average fuel consumption of 5.6 L/100 km/18 km/l/42 US mpg/50 Imp mpg. The bike had a standing 1/4 mile of 10.8 seconds and a top speed of 263 km/h/163 mph. The bike was available in Blue/White and Yellow/Black colours.
