The Triumph Speed Triple T509 was a motorcycle model that was released in 1998. It was equipped with a four-stroke, transverse three-cylinder engine with DOHC and four valves per cylinder. The motorcycle had a capacity of 885 cc, a bore and stroke of 76 x 65 mm, and a liquid-cooling system. The compression ratio of the engine was 10.0:1, and it used synthetic oil, 10W/40 as lubrication.

The induction system of the Speed Triple T509 was fuel injection with a 41 mm diameter. The ignition system was digital CDI, and it used NGK DPR8EA-9 spark plugs. The Triumph Speed Triple R model from 2016 is a high-performance motorcycle that is equipped with a four-stroke, transverse three-cylinder engine. It has a capacity of 1050 cc and is liquid-cooled. The bike also includes a multi-point sequential electronic fuel injection system with SAI, and a stainless steel 3 into 1 into 2 exhaust system with twin high-level stainless steel silencers.
