Gilera 200 Super (1965-69)
The Gilera 200 Super motorcycle was produced from 1965 to 1969 and boasted a four-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 202 cc. Its air-cooled system and carburetor induction allowed it to reach a maximum power output of 12 horsepower at 6,500 rpm. The compression ratio was 7.0:1 and the ignition operated on a 6-volt system. The bike featured a four-speed transmission and final chain drive. The single cradle frame incorporated both hydraulic telescopic forks and dual chocks for the front and rear suspension. The front and rear brakes were both drum type, and the tires measured 2.75-17 and 3.00-17 for the front and rear respectively. The motorcycle weighed 120 kg (264 lbs) and had a fuel capacity of 15 liters (3.9 U.S. gallons).
