The Harley Davidson FLHPFI Road King Police motorcycle was a 2003 model with a four-stroke, 45-degree V-Twin engine and Twin Cam 88 (R) vibration isolation-mounted valves. It had a capacity of 1449cc and a compression ratio of 8.8:1. The bike featured a sequential port fuel injection system (SPFI) and electronic ignition. It had a maximum torque of 116.6 Nm at 3500rpm and a five-speed transmission with belt final drive. The frame was made of mild steel and had a square-section backbone with twin downtubes, while the swingarm was also made of mild steel with rectangular tube sections and stamped junctions that were MIG welded.
