Ducati 1098R (2009)

The Ducati 1098 R is a 2009 motorcycle with a 1198cc four-stroke, L twin-cylinder engine that can produce 132.4 kW/180 hp at 9750 rpm and a maximum torque of 134Nm/13.7kgf-m/98.8 lb-ft at 7750 rpm. The motorcycle’s lubrication system is wet sump, and the engine oil used is synthetic 20W-50. The front GP Replica 7-spoke wheel is forged light alloy of 3.50 x 17, and the rear GP Replica 7-spoke wheel is forged light alloy of 6.00 x 17. Other features include a digital MotoGP-derived instrument panel with displays for speedometer, air temperature, lap times, time, fuel reserve trip, and scheduled maintenance, among others. The Ducati 1098 R can race from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, hit a top speed of 290 km/h (180 mph), and it weighs 169 kg (373 lbs). The seat height is 840 mm (32.2 in), and the bike has a fuel capacity of 15.5 L (4.1 US gal/3.4 Imp gal).
