The Ducati 98 Sport/SS motorcycle was produced from 1953 to 1958 and came with a 98cc four-stroke, single cylinder, OHV, pushrod engine capable of producing up to 6.8 horsepower. The bike had a Dell’Orto carburetor for fuel induction, a 6V, 25W flywheel magneto for ignition, and was kick-start only. The bike had a four-speed transmission and a dry sump lubrication system. The press steel backbone frame held a Marzocchi hydraulically damped telescopic fork in the front and non-adjustable twin hydraulic shocks in the rear, with a swingarm. Drum brakes were added to both the front and rear with 159mm and 137mm drums, respectively. CEAT tires were used, with a 2.50-17 in the front and a 2.75-17 in the rear. The bike weighed 75kg dry and 81kg wet, with a fuel capacity of 13 liters. It could reach a top speed of 56mph for the Sport and 59mph for the SS.

The Ducati 98 and 98N were small motorcycles produced in the early 1950s to late 1950s. The engine of the bike was a four-stroke, single-cylinder overhead valve, push rod model with a capacity of 98cc. The engine had a bore of 49mm and a stroke of 52mm. The compression ratio was 8:1 and the cooling system was air-cooled. The lubrication system was dry sump and the Induction was through Dell’ Orto MA16B carburetor. The bike had a 6V, 25W, flywheel magneto ignition system and used the kick start method to operate. The bike was capable of producing a maximum power of 4.1 kW or 5.5 hp at 6800 rpm. The transmission had three speeds, but for the 1957 version, the 98N had a four-speed transmission. The final drive of the bike was through a chain. The motorcycle had an open-spine pressed steel frame and a telescopic fork front suspension. The rear suspension comprised non-adjustable twin hydraulic shocks and a swingarm. The front and rear brakes were both drum brakes. The bike had CEAT or Pirelli tires both front and rear size 2.75-17. The bike had a length of 1880 mm, a wheelbase of 1240 mm and a dry weight of 72 kg for the 98 model, and 81 kg for the 98N model. The bike had a wet, multiplate clutch and a five-speed transmission with gear ratios of 1st 2.46/2nd 1.73/3rd 1.35/4th 1.10/5th 0.97:1. The Ducati 100 Brio and 100/25 Brio were small motorcycles manufactured in the mid-1960s. Both models had a two-stroke, single cylinder engine with a capacity of 94cc and a Dell’Orto SHB 18/16 carburetor. The 100 Brio had a compression ratio of 8.5:1, while the 100/25 Brio had a higher ratio of 10:1. The bikes were cooled by a fan and used a 6V 30W flywheel magneto ignition system. The maximum power output was 5.3 kW or 7.2 hp at 7000 rpm. The clutch was a wet, multiplate type, and the transmission had three speeds. The bikes used a chain final drive and had a pressed steel frame. The front suspension was a swinging shackle fork, and the rear suspension used twin rubber shocks on a swingarm.
