Sunbeam Model 7 and 7A (1922-40)

The Sunbeam Model 7 and 7A were motorcycles produced from 1922 to 1940. They had a single cylinder, side-valve engine with a capacity of 596cc and a 4-speed transmission with a chain final drive. The engine produced 3.2 kW or 4.25 horsepower. The frame was a single downtube cradle and the front suspension consisted of Druid forks, while the rear suspension was rigid and had a spring-loaded saddle. Both the front and rear brakes were drum brakes, and the wheels were made of steel with laced wire spokes. The motorcycle had an air-cooled system and a single exhaust.
