The Aprilia Scarabeo 500 motorcycle was produced from 2006 to 2012. It features a four-stroke, single-cylinder, SOHC engine with a capacity of 460 cc and a compression ratio of 10.5:1. The engine is liquid-cooled and lubricated with wet sump, forced circulation using a mechanical pump, and semi-synthetic oil.
