The Triumph Daytona T100R was a motorcycle produced by Triumph from 1967 to 1974. It had a four-stroke, twin-cylinder, overhead valve (OHV) engine with 2 valves per cylinder and a capacity of 490cc. The bore and stroke were 69mm and 65.5mm respectively, giving it a compression ratio of 9.0:1. It was air-cooled and had a kick-start mechanism. The maximum power output was 29.2kW or 40 horsepower at 7200 rpm. The transmission was a 4-speed system and the final drive was via a chain. The front suspension consisted of telescopic forks, while the rear had twin shocks and coil springs. The front and rear brakes were drums with internal expanding mechanisms. The front tyre measured 3.25-19 while the rear was 4.00-18. The wheelbase was 1360mm (53.6 inches) and the wet weight was 175kg (386 pounds). The fuel capacity was 13.5 litres (3.6 US gallons or 3.0 Imperial gallons). The top speed for this motorcycle was 160 km/h (99.4 mph).
