The Honda CB900C was a custom motorcycle manufactured in 1981. It had a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder DOHC engine with a capacity of 901 cc. The maximum power output was 95 hp at 9000 rpm, and the maximum torque output was 77 Nm at 8000 rpm. The compression ratio was 8.8:1, and the engine was air-cooled. The CB900C had a 5-speed transmission and a wet sump lubrication system. It used four 32mm Keihin carburetors for induction, and its ignition was inductively electronic. The motorcycle had an air-cooled clutch and a final drive shaft. The front suspension comprised 37mm air-assisted forks, and the rear suspension had dual air-assisted shocks. The front brakes consisted of two 280mm discs with two-piston calipers, while the rear brake had a single 297mm disc with a one-piston caliper. The CB900C had a dry weight of 277 kg and a fuel capacity of 16 litres. Its fuel consumption averaged 41.2 mpg, and its top speed was 135 mph. In addition, the bike was capable of completing the quarter-mile sprint in 11.9 seconds at a speed of 177.8 km/h.
