Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport (2009-11)

The Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport 8V is a V-twin motorcycle manufactured from 2009-2011. The engine is a four-stroke, longitudinally mounted V-twin with OHV and four valves per cylinder, with a capacity of 1151 cc. The bike features multipoint sequential electronic injection, Magneti Marelli IAW 5A phased, alfa-n system with a stainless steel two-into-one 3-way catalysed exhaust, and Lambda probe. The ignition is inductive discharge, digitally controlled, electronic twin spark ignition, with NGK PMR8B spark plugs. The bike produces a maximum power of 80.8 kW/108.3 hp at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 108 Nm/80 lb-ft at 6400 rpm. The transmission has five speeds with a shaft final drive. The frame is a tubular cradle with a high tensile steel construction. The rear suspension has a single-arm suspension with progressive linkage, rear shock absorber adjustable in rebound and preload (hydraulic), with rear wheel travel of 140 mm/5.5 in. The front and rear brakes consist of 320 mm discs with four-piston calipers and a single 282 mm disc with a two-piston caliper, respectively. The bike measures 1160 mm/45.7 in (height), 2195 mm/86.4 in (length), and 840 mm/33.1 in (width), with a wheelbase of 1485 mm/58.5 in, seat height of 800 mm/31.5 in, ground clearance of 185 mm/7.3 in, and dry weight of 229 kg/504.9 lbs. The bike has a fuel capacity of 23 litres/6.0 US gal.
