Ducati Monster 1000S (2005)

The 2005 Ducati Monster 1000S is a four-stroke motorcycle with a 90-degree L twin cylinder engine featuring desmodromic 2 valves per cylinder and a capacity of 992cc/60.5 cu in. The engine is air-cooled with a compression ratio of 10.0:1 and uses wet sump lubrication with semi-synthetic 10W/40 engine oil. Induction is done through Marelli CPU 5.9M fuel injection with 45 mm throttle bodies and ignition is Marelli electronic. The bike has a dry multiplate with hydraulic control clutch and a six-speed transmission.
