Ducati GT 1000 (2007)

The Ducati GT 1000 was a motorcycle model released in 2007. It had a 992cc, 90-degree L twin-cylinder four-stroke engine with DOHC and desmodromic four valves per cylinder, generating a maximum power output of 67.7 kW or 92 hp at 8,000 RPM and a maximum torque of 91.1 Nm or 67.3 lb-ft at 6,000 RPM. It featured a six-speed transmission with wet multi-plate clutch and a chain final drive. The steel trellis frame was equipped with 43mm Marzocchi upside-down forks at the front and twin shock absorbers with spring preload at the rear. Braking was provided by 2x 320mm semi-floating discs with four-piston calipers at the front and a single 245mm disc with two-piston caliper at the rear. The bike had a top speed of 207.8 km/h and could cover a standing quarter-mile in 12.3 seconds. The fuel capacity was 15 liters, and the average consumption was 4.6 L/100 km or 21.7 km/L. The instrument panel included a speedometer, rev counter, warning light for low oil pressure, indicators for high beam, fuel reserve, turn signals, LCD clock, trip fuel, and immobilizer.
