Bimota DB9 Brivido S (2013)

The Bimota DB9 Brivido S is a motorcycle released in 2013. It has a four-stroke, 90-degree L twin cylinder, SOHC, desmodromic 4 valve per cylinder engine with a capacity of 1198 cc. The cooling system is liquid cooled with a compression ratio of 11.5:1. The induction is electronic fuel injection and the ignition is Magneti Marelli. The bike has a wet sump lubrication system with an oil capacity of 3 litres. The fuel tank can hold up to 18 litres. The bike has a maximum power output of 118.2 kW/162 hp at 9500rpm and a maximum torque of 131 Nm at 8000 rpm. The clutch is a wet multiple plates with a hydraulic system and the transmission is a six-speed with a final chain drive. The front suspension uses 43mm upside-down forks with adjustable preload DLC, compression and rebound while the rear suspension is a monoshock adjustable for preload high and low speed ‘extension and compression. The front brakes are 2x 320 mm / 12.6 in. discs with Brembo radial calipers and 4 pads separated. The rear brakes are a single 220mm / 8.7 in. disc with a 2 piston Brembo caliper. The front tyre is 120/70 ZR17 and the rear tyre is 190/55 ZR17. The bike has a seat height of 800 mm and a dry weight of 177 kg. Its top speed is 260 km/h.
