Bimota DB8SP (2013)

The Bimota DB8 SP motorcycle was produced in 2013 with a four-stroke, L twin cylinder, and an electrically controlled gasoline injection with a 60mm throttle body. The engine has a capacity of 1198 cc / 73.1 cub. in with a compression ratio of 12.7:1, and it is cooled by a liquid cooling system. The motorcycle can produce a max power of 170 hp / 125 kW @ 9750 rpm and a max torque of 131,4 Nm / 13,4 kg-m / 96.9 lb-ft. @ 8000 rpm. It has a wet multiple plate clutch and a 6-speed transmission with a final drive chain. The frame is made of welded 39NiCrMo4 tubing and machined 6082 aluminum alloy plates with Marzocchi USD forks DLC fully adjustable suspension on the front, and an Extreme Tech Monoshock fully adjustable suspension on the rear. The bike utilises a Brembo braking system with 2x 320mm / 12.6 in Brembo floating discs 4 pistons radial Brembo calipers, radial pumps on the front and a single 220mm / 8.7 in. floating disc, 2-piston Brembo caliper on the rear. The bike has a length of 2040 mm / 80.3 in. with a seat height of 800 mm / 31.5 in, a dry weight of 178 kg / 392.4 lbs, and a fuel capacity of 16 Litres / 4.2 US gallons. It has a top speed of 280 km/h / 174 mph.
