Bimota BB1 Supermono (1994)

The Bimota BB1 Supermono was a motorcycle model released in 1994. It had a four-stroke, single-cylinder engine with four valves per cylinder and a capacity of 652 cc. The bore and stroke were 100 x 83 mm, and the compression ratio was 9.5:1. It had a liquid cooling system and used 2x 33mm Mikuni BST carbs for induction. The ignition was digital electronic, and it had electric starting.

The maximum power it could generate was 35.8 Kw or 48 hp at 6500 rpm, and the maximum torque was 57.9 Nm or 42.7 lb-ft at 6000 rpm. The transmission was a 5-speed, with a final drive chain. The front suspension had a tele hydraulic fork with 43mm stanchions and rebound adjustments, while the rear suspension had a single shock-absorber with compression, rebound, and length adjustments.

The front brakes had a single 320mm or 12.6 in disc with a 4-piston caliper, and the rear brakes had a single 230mm or 9.1 in disc with a 2-piston caliper. The front and rear tires were 120/70 ZR17 and 160/60 ZR17 respectively. It had a dry weight of 145 kg or 319.7 lbs, and a fuel capacity of 16 liters or 4.2 US gal.
