The Benelli BX (2014) motorcycle was released in 2014 in a sport version named “TNT 600GT” which was updated from the 2011 version “BN600GT”. The update included improved front soft forks, new brake callipers, a streamlined muffler protective cover, redesigned air filter cover, and improved components of the heating and cooling system. The four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder, double overhead camshaft, four valve per cylinder engine has a capacity of 600cc, a compression ratio of 11.5:1 and an electric ignition. The electronic fuel injection system has one injector for each cylinder, and uses a wet sump lubrication system. The motorcycle features an aluminum alloy frame with a swing arm and coil-over shock absorber, a six-speed transmission with a chain final drive, and 17-inch aluminum wheels. The front brake system has two 320mm floating discs and a four-piston caliper while the rear brake uses a single 240mm disc with a double-piston caliper. The powertrain is capable of producing 60 kilowatts or 82 horsepower at 11000 RPM while the maximal torque of 55.5 newton-meters (40.9 lb-ft) is achieved at a somewhat lower engine speed of 8000 RPM. The motorcycle has a length of 2,160 mm (85.0 inches), a width of 800 mm (31.5 inches), and a height of 1,180mm (46.5 inches). It has a seat height of 800mm (31.5 inches), ground clearance of 180mm (7.1 inches), and a wet weight of 223kg (492 pounds). It has a fuel capacity of 26 liters (6.87 US gallons).
