Moto Guzzi 1000 Strada (1990)

The Moto Guzzi 1000 Strada motorcycle was produced in 1990 and has a four stroke, 90 degree V twin alloy, longitudinally mounted engine with OHV and 2 valves per cylinder, as well as a steel con-rod split across its big end eye. The valve operation is controlled by a pushrod from the camshaft located between the cylinder bases in the crankcase, with a clearance by screw and locknut on rocker tips. The bike has a capacity of 949cc/57.9 cu-in and a compression ratio of 9.5:1. It features a 2x 36mm Dell’Orto carburettor induction, electronic ignition, and electric starting. It has a maximum power of 71 hp/52 KW @ 6800rpm and a maximum torque of 77 Nm/56.7 lb-ft @ 3200rpm. The clutch is double plate and dry type, with a 5-speed transmission and a final drive shaft. The bike has Moto Guzzi telescopic fork front suspension and swing arm with hydraulic Koni shock rear suspension. Its front brakes feature two 300mm discs, and its rear brake has a single 270mm disc. The front tyre size is 110/90 V18, and the rear tyre size is 120/90 V18. The dry weight of the motorcycle is 230 kg/506 lbs, and its fuel capacity is 22.5 litres/5.9 US gallons.
