Yamaha YZF 600R Thunder cat (2003-05)

The Yamaha YZF 600R Thundercat was a sport motorcycle produced between 2003 and 2005. It was powered by a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 599cc and a compression ratio of 12.0:1. The engine delivered a maximum power of 72.9 kW (100 hp) at 11,500 rpm and a peak torque of 65.7 Nm (48.7 lb-ft) at 9,500 rpm. The bike also featured a six-speed transmission and a 530 O-ring chain final drive. The frame was a twin-spar, steel delta box design, while the suspension consisted of a 41mm telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The bike had a 25-degree rake and a trail of 97 mm. The front brake system comprised of two 300 mm discs with 4-piston calipers, while the rear featured a single 245 mm disc with a 2-piston caliper.
