Yamaha YZF (2011)

The Yamaha YZF 1000 R1 Monster Tech3 Replica was released in 2011 in two models, Colin Edwards and Cal Crutchlow Replica. It has a four stroke, transverse four-cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder engine and a capacity of 998cc/60.9cu-in. The engine is liquid-cooled and has a wet sump lubrication system, with a Mikuni 45mm throttle body fuel injection and NGK CR9EK spark plugs. The bike has a cable-operated multiplate wet slipper clutch and a six-speed transmission with an “O” ring chain final drive. The frame is made of Deltabox V aluminum and has a 43mm inverted telescopic fork with adjustable preload and compression damping, and a single shock with a piggyback reservoir that is adjustable for hi-/lo-speed compression damping, rebound damping, and spring preload. The front brakes consist of two 310mm discs with six-piston calipers and the rear has a single 220mm disc with a single piston caliper. The bike has a top speed of 280.9 km/h and can go from 0 to 100km/h in 2.99 seconds. The dimensions of the bike are 2070mm length, 715mm width, and 1130mm height, with a wheelbase of 1415mm and a ground clearance of 135mm. The dry weight is 177 kg and the wet weight is 206kg, while the fuel capacity is 18 litres.
