The Yamaha XT600 was a single-cylinder, four-stroke motorcycle released in 1985. It had a 595cc engine with a bore and stroke of 95 x 84mm, a compression ratio of 8.5:1, and a 27mm dual-stage Teikei carburetor. The bike produced a maximum power of 46hp at 6000rpm and maximum torque of 4.5kgf-m at 5750rpm. It had a five-speed transmission with final drive via chain, and its front suspension was telescopic and air-assisted, while the rear suspension was a monoshock swing arm. The bike weighed 137kg and had a fuel capacity of 11 liters. Its average consumption was 61mpg and it had a top speed of 100mph.
