The Yamaha TDR 250 was a motorcycle model produced in 1988-89. It had a 249cc two-stroke, parallel twin cylinder engine with YPVS and autolube lubrication. Its maximum power output was 46 hp at 10000 rpm, and maximum torque was 3.7 kgf-m at 8500 rpm. The bike had a 6-speed transmission with a chain final drive. The front and rear suspensions had adjustable preload (7-way for the front and rising rate for the rear) and the brakes were single disc with two-piston calipers in the front and single caliper in the rear.
