The Yamaha RD200 motorcycle was first introduced in 1976 and had a two-stroke torque induction parallel twin engine with a 195cc capacity. The bike had a compression ratio of 7.1:1 and was air-cooled. Autolube was used for lubrication and the oil capacity was 1.2 liters. The RD200 had 2x Y20P carburetors for induction and battery coil ignition. The bike had both electric and kick starting options.
