The Suzuki GT750 was produced from 1977 to 1978 and was a two-stroke, transverse three-cylinder motorcycle with a capacity of 738cc. The engine had a compression ratio of 6.7:1 and was liquid-cooled with three Mikuni VM 32 carburetors. The bike had an electric and kick start and a multi-disc, wet clutch. The maximum power output was 52.2 kW/70 hp at 6500 rpm and maximum torque was 83 Nm/8.5 kgf-m 61.5 lb-ft at 5500 rpm. It had a five-speed transmission and a final drive chain. The front suspension was telescopic forks and the rear suspension was a swinging arm fork with an adjustable shock absorber. The bike had two front disc brakes and a 190mm drum brake at the rear. The dimensions were Length: 2215 mm/87.2 in, Width: 864 mm/34.0 in, Height: 1125 mm/44.3 in, Wheelbase: 1469 mm/57.8 in, Ground Clearance: 140 mm/5.5 in, Dry Weight: 230 kg/507 lbs, Fuel Capacity: 17 Litres/4.5 US gal/3.7 Imp gal, and Oil Capacity: 1.8 Litres/3.8 US pt/3.2 Imp gal. The bike could do the standing quarter-mile in 12.6 seconds and had a top speed of 193 km/h/120 mph.
