MV Agusta 250 Scrambler B (1967-69)

The MV Agusta 250 Scrambler B is a four-stroke, parallel twin motorcycle that was manufactured between 1967 and 1969. It has a capacity of 247 and a compression ratio of 10.0:1. The engine employs pushrod technology with two valves per cylinder, and it uses a wet sump lubrication system. The induction system utilizes a 2x 22 mm carburettor, and the ignition is driven by a dynamo. The bike’s maximum power is 19 hp at 7000rpm, and it has a wet multiple plate clutch with a 5-speed transmission to deliver power to the wheels. The final drive is through a chain, and the bike has a single-beam, tubular, and pressed steel frame. The telescopic hydraulic fork suspension system is used at the front, while the rear uses a swingarm with hydraulic shocks. Drum brakes, 180mm for the front and 150mm for the rear, are used, along with 2.75- 18 and 3.25- 18 tyres for the front and rear wheels, respectively. It has a length of 1960mm and a width of 620mm, with a wheelbase of 1300mm. With a dry weight of 142kg, the bike can hold up to 13 litres of fuel.
