The Kawasaki ZX-R 250 Ninja was produced from 1991-92 and had a 249 cc four-stroke transverse four-cylinder engine with a DOHC and four valves per cylinder. It had a liquid cooling system and a 12.2:1 compression ratio with 4x Keihin CVK D30 carburetors. It had a maximum power of 45 hp at 15,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 24.5 Nm at 11,500 rpm.
