The Kawasaki GPz 400R, also known as the ZX 400, is a motorcycle model created in 1986 by Kawasaki. The bike runs on a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder, DOHC engine with 4 valves per cylinder, with a 399cc capacity and bore x stroke of 57 39 mm. It is a liquid-cooled engine with a compression ratio of 11.5:1 and is powered by 4 Keihin CVKD30 carburetors. The ignition is CDI and the starting method is electric.
