Kawasaki GPZ250 (1983-85)

The Kawasaki GPz 250 was produced from 1983 to 1985 and was equipped with a four-stroke parallel twin SOHC engine with a capacity of 248cc. It had a liquid-cooled system and a compression ratio of 10.0:1. The motorcycle had 2x Keihin CVK32 for induction, constant velocity, diaphragm-type, and electronic advance ignition. The spark plug used was NGK C8HA or ND U24FS-L.

The Kawasaki GPz 250 had an electric starting system and could generate 33 horsepower or 26.4 kW of power at 10,500 RPM. At 9500 RPM, it could produce 2.3 kgf-m or 16.6 lb-ft of torque. Clutch features included a wet, multi-disc, manual, and cable-actuated transmission with a six-speed gear system. A belt was used for the final drive.

The motorcycle weighed 146 kg or 321 pounds and featured a tubular diamond frame, hydraulic telescoping fork for front suspension, and Uni-Trak single-shock system for rear suspension.
