The Honda VF500C Magna V30 was a motorcycle produced in 1983. It was powered by a liquid-cooled, four-stroke 498cc V-four cylinder engine with 4 valves per cylinder and a compression ratio of 11.0:1, producing max power of 68hp at 11500rpm and max torque of 31.7 lb-ft at 10500rpm. The bike featured 4x 34mm Keihin carbs or 4x 32mm CV induction, as well as a transistorized ignition system. The clutch was a multiple plate coil spring and the transmission had 6 speeds with a final drive chain. The front suspension was telescopic air assisted with 140mm of wheel travel, while the rear suspension was a single shock swing arm with 115mm of wheel travel. The front brakes were 2x 255mm discs and the rear brakes were a drum. The bike had a weight of 271kg and a fuel capacity of 14 litres, with a top speed of 196.4km/h and a standing 1/4 mile time of 12.6 sec/164.5 km/h. The front and rear tyres were 100/90-16 and 130/90-18 respectively.
