Honda Crosstourer Concept (2015)

The Honda VFR 800X Crossrunner (ED-type) was released in 2015 with a four-stroke, 90-degree V-4 engine that has a capacity of 782cc. It has a compression ratio of 11.8:1 and a cooling system of liquid cooled. The bike has a 35mm throttle bore and a computer-controlled digital transistorized ignition with an electronic advance. The electric start bike can generate a max torque of 75 Nm / 55.3 lb-ft at 8500rpm and a max power of 104.5 hp / 78 kW at 10250rpm. The six-speed bike has a wet, multiplate clutch and a chain final drive.

The frame is made of aluminum and has a twin-spar design. The front suspension is a 43mm HMAS cartridge-type telescopic fork with stepless preload and ten DF adjustments, and the rear suspension is a Pro-Link with gas-charged HMAS damper, 35-step (remote-controlled hydraulic) preload, and stepless rebound. The front brakes consist of two hydraulic discs (310mm floating) with 4 piston radial calipers, while the rear brake is a single hydraulic 256mm disc with 2 piston caliper. The wheels of the bike are 10-spoke die-cast aluminum, with front and rear tires of 120/70 Z R17 and 180/55 R17 respectively.

The bike has dimensions of length 2190mm / 86.2in, width 879mm / 34.6in, height 1360mm / 53.5in, and a wheelbase of 1475mm / 58.0in. The seat height can be adjusted between 835mm – 815mm / 32.8in – 32.0in, and the ground clearance is 165mm / 6.4in. The bike weighs in at 242kg / 533.5lbs, and the fuel capacity is 20.8 liters / 5.4 gallons.
