Honda CBX750F (1985-87)

The Honda CBX 750F was a motorcycle model produced from 1985 to 1987. It had a four stroke, transverse four cylinder engine with a capacity of 747cc and a compression ratio of 9.3:1. The bike had 4 valve per cylinder and a bore x stroke of 67 x 53 mm. The CBX 750F had 4 x 34mm CV type carbs and full transistor ignition for starting. It was capable of producing up to 93 horsepower and 70.6 Nm of torque at 8500 rpm. The bike had a wet multiplate clutch and a 6-speed transmission with a chain final drive. It had a tubular steel duplex cradle frame and 39mm air assisted front forks that were rebound adjustable. The front brakes consisted of 2x 280mm discs with 2 piston calipers and the rear brake was a single 280mm disc with 2 piston caliper. The front wheel was a six spoke Comstar and the rear wheel was also a six spoke Comstar with the front and rear tyres being 110/90-V16 tubeless and 130/80-V18 tubeless respectively. The bike had a dry weight of 215kg and a wet weight of 241kg with a fuel capacity of 22 liters. The Honda CBX 750F was capable of an average fuel consumption of 34 mpg, a standing 1/4 mile of 12.1 sec at 111mph, and had a top speed of 131mph.
