Harley Davidson XL 883N Iron (2014-15)

The Harley Davidson XL 883N Iron motorcycle was produced from 2014-2015 and had a 45 degree V-Twin engine, with a capacity of 883cc. It had an electronic sequential port fuel injection system and a digital CDI ignition, with a maximum torque of 73 Nm at 3750 rpm. The transmission was 5-speed, and the final drive was a belt with a primary drive chain. The frame was made of mild steel tubular sections with cast junctions, and the swingarm was mild steel with stamped junctions, MIG welded. It had a 39mm fork front suspension with 92mm wheel travel, and a coil-over dual-adjustable preload rear suspension with 41mm wheel travel. The front brakes had a single 300mm disc with 2 x 38mm piston calipers, while the rear brakes had a single 260mm disc with 2 x 38mm piston calipers. The seat height was 653mm when laden and 683mm when unladen, and the ground clearance was 120mm. The motorcycle had a chrome, staggered, shorty exhaust with dual mufflers and was designed for cruising with power and style.
