The Ducati Paul Smart 1000 Limited Edition motorcycle was produced in 2006 in a limited quantity of 2000 units. It has a four-stroke, L-twin cylinder engine with a capacity of 992cc and a compression ratio of 10.0:1. The Marelli electronic fuel injection system and electronic ignition enable a maximum power output of 67.7 kW at 8000 rpm and maximum torque of 91.2 Nm at 6000 rpm. The bike has a multiplate clutch with hydraulic control and a six-speed transmission with a chain final drive. Its tubular steel trellis frame suspends an inverted Ohlins fork and a fully adjustable Ohlins rear monoshock absorber. The front and rear brakes are 320mm and 245mm discs, respectively, with four and two-piston calipers. The bike has a 1200mm wheelbase, 120mm front and rear wheel travel, and a 24-degree rake with a 30-degree steering angle. The seat height stands at 825mm, and dry weight is 179 kg.
