Ducati Monster 1000 (2004)

The Ducati Monster 1000, manufactured in 2004, is a four-stroke motorcycle with a 90-degree L twin cylinder engine. It has a desmodromic two valves per cylinder and a capacity of 992cc. The bore and stroke are 94 x 71.5 mm. The cooling system is air cooled and the compression ratio is 10.0:1. The engine oil used is a semi-synthetic, 10W/40 lubricant. The rear suspension has a progressive linkage with a fully adjustable Sages Boge monoshock with a piggyback aluminum swing arm, and a rear wheel travel of 148 mm / 5.8 in.
