The Ducati 999 was a motorcycle model produced in 2004. It had a four stroke, 90 degrees L twin cylinder engine, DOHC, desmodromic 4 valves per cylinder, belt driven with a capacity of 998 cc / 60.9 cu in. The engine had a compression ratio of 11.4:1 and was cooled by liquid. The ignition was Marelli electronic and the starting was electric.
