The Ducati 860GTS was a motorcycle model produced from 1976 to 1979. It was powered by a four-stroke, L twin-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a displacement of 864 cc and a compression ratio of 9.0:1. The bike had a 5-speed transmission, wet multi-plate clutch, and a chain final drive. The front suspension featured a Marzocchi fork and the rear suspension offered Marzocchi dual shocks with 3-way adjustable settings. The front brakes consisted of a single 280mm disc with a 1 piston caliper, while the rear brakes were a 200mm drum. The bike had a wheelbase of 1550 mm and a seat height of 825 mm. The dry weight was 185 kg and the wet weight was 206 kg. The fuel tank had a capacity of 18 L.
