The Ducati 851 SP Biposto was a motorcycle produced from 1990 to 1992. It had a four-stroke, 90 degree L-twin cylinder, DOHC engine with 4 valves per cylinder and electronic fuel injection. The engine had a capacity of 851 cc and a compression ratio of 10.5:1, producing a maximum power of 110 hp at 9600 rpm and a maximum torque of 70.6 Nm at 7000 rpm. The bike had a dry, multiplate clutch and a 6-speed transmission. It had front and rear suspension and 2 x 320 mm disc front brakes and a single 245 mm disc rear brake. The bike had a tubular steel frame and 41 mm Showa upside-down fork at the front and a Showa single shock at the rear. The motorcycle had a fuel capacity of 20 litres and a wet weight of 210 kg. It was available in a white frame and red colour scheme. It was praised in a Moto Sprint 1990 road test.
