The Ducati 750 Super Sport was produced from 1975 to 1977 and featured a four-stroke, L twin-cylinder engine with a capacity of 748 cc. The engine was air-cooled with a compression ratio of 9.65:1 and was driven by bevel gears. Ignition was electronic and the battery was a Yuasa 12N-12A-4A-12V. The bike had a kick start and could reach a max power of 70 hp at 9000 rpm and a max torque of 71.6 Nm. The clutch was wet and the transmission was five-speed. The front brakes featured twin 280 mm discs with a Scarab caliper, while the rear brake had a single 230 mm disc with a Lockheed caliper. The Ducati 750SS had a tubular steel frame and a twin downtube, with a Marzocchi telescopic fork for the front suspension and dual shocks for the rear suspension. The bike had a length of 2200mm, a width of 660mm, and a height of 1050mm. The wheelbase was 1500mm, and the seat height was 760mm. The dry weight of the bike was 180kg.
