The Ducati 400SS Junior (Half Fairing) was produced from 1991 to 1998. It had a four stroke, 90 degrees L twin cylinder engine with desmodromic 2 valve per cylinder and a capacity of 398 cc. The compression ratio was 10.0:1 and it was air cooled with a Mikuni B79 carburetor. The ignition was Kokusan electronic and it had a 12V 16Ah battery with an electric starting system.
