The Ducati 350 Sport Desmo motorcycle was produced between 1977 and 1979, featuring a four stroke parallel twin cylinder engine with a capacity of 349.6cc and a compression ratio of 9.6:1. It had a Dell’Orto VHB 26 FS/FD carburetor and a points and coil ignition system powered by a 12V 150W generator. With a maximum power output of 19 kW or 26 hp at 8000 rpm, the bike had a wet multiplate clutch and a five-speed transmission with gear ratios of 1st 2.500, 2nd 1.714, 3rd 1.333, 4th 1.074, and 5th 1.900. Its final drive ratio was 2.923 and it had a chain final drive. The motorcycle featured a double downtube, tubular steel frame with a 35mm Paioli fork front suspension and a swingarm with dual Marzocchi shocks that were 3-way adjustable. Additionally, the bike had 2 x 256 mm Brembo discs on the front brakes and a single 257 mm Brembo disc on the rear brake, as well as 3.25-18 front and 3.50-18 rear tyres. It measured 2050 mm in length, 710 mm in width, and 1060 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1400 mm and a seat height of 760 mm. The Ducati 350 Sport Desmo had a dry weight of 181 kg and a fuel capacity of 14 L.
