Ducati 1299 Superleggera (2017)

The 2017 Ducati 1299 Panigale Superleggera is a high-performance motorcycle with a four-stroke, 90-degree L twin-cylinder engine with desmodromic 4-valve per cylinder. The engine has a capacity of 1285 cc and features Mitsubishi electronic fuel injection system with twin injectors per cylinder. The bike has a Euro 3 emissions certification and can produce a maximum power of 215 hp at 11000 rpm and a maximum torque of 146.5 Nm at 9000 rpm. The clutch is hydraulically controlled slipper/self-servo wet multiplate clutch, and the transmission has six speeds with Ducati Quick Shift. The chain final drive has a 15/39 front-rear sprocket ratio, and the primary drive has a straight cut gears ratio of 1.77:1. The monocoque frame is made of carbon fiber, and the suspension is fully adjustable with 43mm USD Ohlins fork at the front and single Ohlins TTX36 shock with titanium spring at the rear. The bike has a dual semi-floating disc with radially mounted Brembo Monobloc Evo M50 4-piston callipers and a single 245 mm disc with 2-piston caliper brakes with cornering ABS at the rear. The front and rear wheels are 10-spoke carbon fiber with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tires. The bike has a rake of 24 degrees and a trail of 98 mm, with a total steering lock of 48 degrees. It has a dry weight of 156 kg and a wet weight of 167 kg, with a fuel capacity of 17 liters. The instrumentation includes Riding Modes, Power Modes, ABS cornering, DTC, DWC, DSC, DPL, DQS u/d, EBC, DDA+ w/GPS module, Fully RbW. The bike also comes with a track kit that includes a titanium racing exhaust, racing windshield, machined mirror block-off plates, license plate mount removal plug, side-stand removal kit, front and rear paddock stands, and paddock bike cover.
