The Cagiva V-Raptor 1000 was produced from 2003-2005 and had a four-stroke, 90-degree V-twin engine with a capacity of 996cc. The engine had electronic fuel injection and produced a maximum power of 105.5 kW at 8500 rpm and a maximum torque of 90 Nm at 7000 rpm. The motorcycle had a six-speed transmission and a final drive chain. The front suspension was a 43mm upside-down hydraulic fork and the rear suspension was a rising rate mono-shock, both of which were adjustable. The front brakes consisted of 2x 298mm discs with 4-piston calipers, and the rear brake was a single 220mm disc with a 2-piston caliper. The bike had a wheelbase of 1440mm and a seat height of 770mm. The dry weight was 197kg and the fuel capacity was 15.2 litres. The consumption average was 16.6 km/lit and the top speed was 232 km/h. It could complete the standing quarter-mile in 11.1 seconds at a speed of 208 km/h.
