The Velocette KTT Mk VI, KTT Mk VII, and KTT Mk VIII are a series of motorcycles that were produced between 1935 and 1950. They have a four stroke, single cylinder, OHC engine with a capacity of 348.4 cc and a compression ratio of 7.8:1. The bikes are air-cooled and use a dry sump lubrication system. They have a single chrome exhaust and an Amal carburetor. The ignition is a bobine and the bikes are started with a kick start. The KTT Mk VIII has a maximum power output of 25.7 kW / 35 hp @ 5800 rpm. The clutch is a wet multi-plate and the transmission is four-speed with foot-operated controls. The final drive is a chain.
