The Cagiva Elefant 200 was a two-stroke, single-cylinder motorcycle produced in 1985-86. It had a liquid-cooled engine with a capacity of 190 cc and a compression ratio of 11.9:1. The bike had both kick and electric starting, and could produce a maximum power of 27 horsepower at 9000 rpm and a maximum torque of 21 Nm at 7500 rpm. It had a six-speed transmission and a chain final drive. The chassis was a tubular duplex cradle design, with telescopic forks in the front and an alloy single shock soft damp suspension in the rear. It had a single 240mm disc brake in the front and a 130mm drum brake in the rear. The front and rear tyres measured 3.00-21 and 4.60-17 respectively. The bike weighed 125 kg and had a fuel capacity of 15.5 litres or approximately 4.0 US gallons.
