The Brammo Empulse R is an all-electric motorcycle with a Parker GVM IPM motor, Sevcon Gen 4 Size 6 throttle, and a Brammo Power c BPM15/90 Lithium-Ion battery pack. The battery capacity is 9.31 kWh nominal and 10.2 kWh max, with a voltage of 103.6 V nominal and 117.6 Vdc max. Recharge time ranges from 2 to 8 hours depending on the level of charging. The motorcycle has a range of up to 128 miles in city driving, 58 miles on the highway, and 80 miles combined, with a top speed of 110 mph. It features regenerative braking to extend driving range and familiar rider feedback. The bike has a lightweight extruded and welded aluminum frame that serves as a battery tray, with a sub-frame of tubular steel. The suspension includes semi-adjustable A43 mm Marzocchi forks in the front and a semi-adjustable Sachs shock in the rear. The brakes are dual A310 mm Brembo floating disks in the front with twin four-piston hydraulic Brembo brake calipers, and a Brembo single disk in the rear with a dual-piston hydraulic Brembo brake caliper. The Brammo Empulse R has a GVWR of 380 kg and comes in True Blood Red or Eclipsed Black.
