The Aprilia Pegaso 125 was a motorcycle model produced between 1993-94. It was powered by a two-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 124 cc and a compression ratio of 14.0:1. The bike had a liquid cooling system and a dry sump with an external oil pump. The induction system was a 34mm Dell’Orto carburetor and the bike had an electric starter. The maximum power output was 23 kW at 10000 rpm and maximum torque was 22.5 Nm at 8500 rpm. The clutch was wet and cable operated and the transmission had six speeds. The bike had a steel double cradle frame with a rake of 28 degrees and a trail of 100 mm. The front suspension was made up of 41 mm inverted telescopic forks with 210 mm of travel while the rear suspension was a single shock preload adjustable with 220 mm of travel. The front brakes had a single 300 mm disc with a two-piston caliper.
