Aprilia ETV 1000 Caponord (2005)

The Aprilia ETV 1000 Caponord is a motorcycle released in 2005. It features a four-stroke longitudinal 60-degree V-twin engine, with a capacity of 997.6cc and a compression ratio of 10.4:1. It is cooled by liquid and lubricated with synthetic 15-50 oil. The fuel injection system is paired with a digital electronic ignition, using two spark plugs per cylinder. The frame is made of a box-type aluminum-magnesium alloy with a highly-resistant steel rear subframe that is removable. The front suspension features a Marzocchi hydraulic fork with approximately 50mm of travel, while the rear suspension comprises an aluminum alloy swing arm with a progressive linkage and a Sachs hydraulic shock absorber, which is rebound and preload adjustable. The rear wheel travel is 185mm or 7.3 inches, while the front has 175mm or 6.9 inches of travel.
