AC Schnitzer K 1200RS (2005)

The AC Schnitzer K 1200RS motorcycle was produced in 2005 with a four-stroke, horizontal in-line four cylinder, liquid cooled, DOHC engine with 4 valves per cylinder. It had a capacity of 1171 cc and a compression ratio of 11.5:1. It ran on fuel injection with an ignition MA 2.4 Bosch Motronic system and had an electric starting feature.

With a maximum power output of 96.9 kW / 130 hp at 8750 rpm and a maximum torque of 117 Nm / 11.93 kgf-m / 86.3 lb-ft at 6750 rpm, the bike used a 5-speed transmission and had a final drive through the shaft system.

The front suspension of the motorcycle was BMW Motorrad Telelever, stanchion diameter 35 mm, central strut, and the rear suspension had a die-cast aluminum single-sided swinging arm with Paralever central strut, spring preload adjustable to continuously variable levels by means of a hydraulic handwheel, and a rebound damping adjustable feature.

Front brakes consisted of 2x 305 mm discs with 4-piston calipers while the rear brake was a single 285 mm disc with a 2-piston caliper. The bike had a front tire measurement of 120/70 R 17, a rear tire measurement of 190/50 R 17, and a fuel capacity of 22 liters / 5.8 US gallons.
