Zero FX (2015)

The Zero FX 2015 motorcycle is equipped with a Type Z-Force (R) 75-5 passively air-cooled, high efficiency, radial flux permanent magnet, brushless motor and a high efficiency, 420 amp, 3-phase brushless controller with regenerative deceleration. The power pack of the motorcycle is a Z-Force Li-Ion intelligent modular that has a maximum capacity of 2.8kWh for the ZF 2.8 and 5.7kWh for the ZF 5.7. The estimated pack life for the motorcycles range from 127,000 to 254,000 kilometers. Charge times range from 7.8 hours for the ZF 5.7 with a standard charger to 1.8 hours with a max accessory charger. The city range of the motorcycle ranges from 35 to 70 miles depending on the model, while the maximum combined range ranges from 21 to 54 miles. The motorcycle has a maximum power of 20 kW / 27 hp @ 3700 rpm and a top speed of 137 km/h / 85 mph. It also has a clutchless direct drive transmission and a final drive of a 132T / 25T, Poly Chain GT Carbon Belt.
